Troodon (Jeanie)
The Troodon is a 1.2m tall, 3m long swift, lethal predator whose name means wounding tooth. This theropod lived during the late Cretaceous in North America and is known for a high brain to body size ratio providing evidence for higher intelligence(at least among dinosaurs). It often hunts in packs subduing larger prey through strategy and their deadly bites. Jurassic worlds Troodons have a venomous bite allowing them to poison their prey then wait for it to slowly kill them.
This particular specimen, Jeanie(short for genius), is the subject of a recent project headed by Dr Kate Walker which has focused on researching the emotional intelligence of Troodons and has lead to the creation of the Dino decoder capable of interpreting dinosaurs thoughts and emotions.
